Most people who venture shopping for envelopes find themselves faced with a choice between khaki and envelopes made of plastic. This is especially the case for the people looking for those big-sized envelopes in which A4-size documents can be kept or carried. Now in recent days, we have seen a trend where more and more of these people are opting to buy the plastic envelopes, rather than the khaki envelopes. This is surprising, because the envelopes created of plastic are typically costlier than the khaki envelopes. For these people to be willing to pay more for the plastic envelopes, there must be some ways in which the envelopes made of plastic are better than the envelopes made of plastic. 2. The envelopes are more aesthetically appealing than the khaki cover: we are looking at a situation where most envelopes are either totally clear (which makes them look sophisticated), or colored in a variety of alluring pigments. That is as opposed to the case with khaki envelopes, which tend to come in that stiff-starched dull brownish color, which cannot be termed as aesthetically appealing by any standards.

 

3. The plastic cover are classier than khaki envelopes: many of the people looking for these cover turn out to be people who are considering using the envelopes for ferrying documents to presentations, interviews and other such places. These are the sorts of places where impressions, and especially first impressions, matter a great deal. Such people will therefore be only too willing to sacrifice a little extra money, in order to get the significantly more aesthetically appealing/sophisticated-looking cover made of plastic.
